Hi, I'm Hannah, the face and heart behind the camera at Hannah Cheek Photography.
I specialize in newborn, maternity, lifestyle, and family photography because I love capturing the seasons that pass by too fast. That tiny newborn stretch, the way your toddler still reaches for your hand, the quiet mornings at home that feel completely ordinary until you look back and realize they were everything. I want your photos to feel like you, not like a posed version of you.
When I'm not behind the lens, you'll probably find me at church. I lead worship, serve in ministry leadership, and recently became a District Pastor, which still feels a little surreal to say out loud. My faith shapes how I see people and how I show up in this work. Every family I photograph, I'm looking for the real and the sacred in the everyday, because I believe that's usually where it's hiding.
Outside of work I'm married to my husband of 12 years, chasing after our cat, and slowly making my way through a stack of classic novels I somehow skipped in high school.

I'm hannah
I didn't get into photography because I wanted to take pretty pictures. I got into it because I kept noticing how fast the good stuff goes by, the tiny hands, the messy kitchen mornings, the way a family just is when no one's telling them to smile.
But somewhere along the way, this business became something more than that. It became a ministry.
Every session is a chance to be an example of who Jesus is, to meet people exactly where they are, in whatever season they're in, whatever their story looks like right now. No pretense, no pressure to have it all together. Just showing up with a camera and with love, and letting that be enough.
I don't take that lightly. Being invited into your home, your family, your in-between moments, that's an honor. My faith isn't something I tack onto this work, it's the reason I do this work. And if you walk away from your session feeling seen, cared for, and a little more loved than when we started, then I've done what I set out to do.

Coffee (or let's be real, whatever caffeine is closest), Jesus and my Bible before my brain fully turns on, working at my church, kitty snuggles because she demands it, maybe a session if I'm lucky, and if the day's been good, I end it curled up with a book pretending I don't have laundry to fold.

Like, borderline unreasonable amounts. It's in my logo, my branding, and probably half my closet. If it's teal, I'm already sold. I'll never turn down an excuse to add more of it to my life.

Can you guess my favorite color?
I lead worship with Relentless Worship Band, a collective of worship leaders from Arkansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma. Since 2018, we've traveled together blending timeless anthems, modern worship, and original songs, all pointing back to who God is. So if you catch me humming a random melody mid-session, that's probably why, worship's just always running in the background of my brain.

"We’ve used Hannah for 3 different photoshoots (so far). From being so flexible and caring (checking in on us) while our babies were in the NICU, therefore delaying our newborn photo shoot & bringing us coffee the day of, to being so fun and thoughtful, bringing treats and a stuffed animals to make all the kiddos giggle at our extended family photo shoot- she thinks of it all. The passion she has shows in her delivery during the shoot and the outcome of the photos. I cry at every album she delivers. We have found a forever photographer with Hannah. "
